i have a woman friend. I have not heard from in a year ..I texted, phoned ect. no response. the last time i heard from her.she emailed me on my birthday. Then nothing.. what could I do to get her to respond. what could i do to get her to respond????? she's 400 miles away and I miss her a lot.......

Sorry to hear about the friend. I hate to bring bad news, but from what you say, I believe she is gone and that trying to reconnect will just bring you more frustration and heartache.


At this point, I imagine that she has adjusted to her new home and has created a new life with new friends and new things to do. Unfortunately, this new life doesn’t appear to include you.

Since you were the one left behind, it is more difficult for you – you see the same life as before, only without that person you care for.
